About Earth Ideas Foundation

Welcome to Earth Ideas Foundation! 
We're a committed group of change-makers attempting to shape the part of the earth around us and beyond, one idea at a time. The idea of the organization itself was born in March'2020, a time when the threat of COVID-19 was looming. 

It was a time of deep introspection. The vulnerability of life, our legacy as humans, and our connection to the world around us. What are we doing to make this earth a better place? Out of such intense churning of the human soul, an idea was born to do our bit for the environment and the earth.

The underlying concern that we, as a human species, need to respond assertively and urgently to the growing problem of climate change, which, if not addressed, may soon produce far-reaching and inarguably disastrous effects, has been at the core of our organization. The idea has been the driving force behind all of EIF's interventions so far.

As an organization based in Jharkhand, we aim to be proactive in diverse areas that require human intervention, including climate change, watershed management, afforestation, livelihood generation, environmental education, community engagement, and addressing incidental issues such as hunger, malnutrition, and social exclusion.

Having witnessed the traditional way of life of tribal and PVTGs (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups) from close quarters, we hold issues related to PVTGs and the cultural preservation of their rich heritage close to our hearts. 

With a vision of creating an "equitable, sustainable and greener planet for all sentient beings and everything it includes," each effort of our organization aims to make this earth a better place through optimism and courage.
